In 2013, Australian New York City resident Yael Stone was the inmate playing "Lorna" Morello as part of Orange Is the New Black. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Yael had the privilege at a young age to have worked with the best storytellers and performers in Australia along with pioneers in the film, TV and theatre industry. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael relocated to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of the Music's production of the play had a critical successful. Yael was the co-founder of The Cannery. In a Bushwick Brooklyn studio The Cannery encourages new and artistic writings, and are a source of inspiration for new concepts.
